Reporting to: Manager of Facilities Operations - Arena
Department: Recreation (Arenas)
Classification: PERMANENT Part Time; Unionized
Salary Range: $16.55/hour
Hours of Work: As per C.A
Starting Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:
  1. Patrol public skating to ensure that rules are being followed.
  2. Assist anyone who has been injured.
  3. File appropriate accident report forms.
  4. Ensure ice conditions are safe for the public.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent skating abilities.
  • Good communication and public relation skills  
  • Standard first aid/CPR/AED an asset, or must be able to obtain as a condition of employment.
Working Conditions:
  • Usual arena conditions, works in the cold.
  • Deal with the public and users of the facility. 
  • Some heavy lifting required.
